The oil pastels have excellent color opacity and they provide a smoot color laydown for rich oil pastel effects. 

They are vivid with intense luminosity for pastel techniques. The pastels sticks are soft and can be blended with your fingers or by using white spirit. 

They can be mixed with each other to create new shades.
